Essay on A person who means a lot to me (400 Words)

A person who means a lot to me by KHON MIN SET
A person who means a lot to me is called Mrs. Win Myint, my mother. But, everyone calls her May Phwar. She is not famous at all, yet to my mind, her care and kindness for the family are unique. Additionally, I regard her as one of the kindest and the most caring mothers the world has ever had.
May Phwar has got twinkling brown eyes and shoulder-length straight black hair. She usually dresses simply, but she manages to look elegant. Her smart appearance and warm friendly expression make her very popular in our neighborhood. She is a smiling woman in her early sixties. However, her youthful face remains unchanged. Hence, she looks younger than other women in their early sixties.
May Phwar is a very fair-minded person who treats everyone in her family equally and treats every child like a mother. Despite frowning at whom she gets angry with, she is actually very clam, which is shown by her ability to keep her temper. Besides, she enjoys the same things any mother does – listening to FM radio or music, watching Korean series and meeting friends and so on. She is not only the best mother to us, but also has a wonderful sense of humor and genuine interest in other people. Furthermore, the most striking characteristic of May Phwar is her generosity. No one in my neighborhood has never had jasmines from her small garden. She leads a very regular life – keeping herself busy with house chores and dealing with the grocery store she has run. Of course, she enjoys going out as well; she usually visits her parents once a week.
The main reason why May Phwar means a lot to me is that she is not absent to take care of her own family as well as her own parents, our grandparents. Moreover, even though she has been a bit blue since our father passed away, she has managed to battle to stand on her own feet for the family.
Another reason is that she, a widow, strived to raise us to be literate and educated persons despite monetary hardship and has been able to build up happy family.
All in all, I’m really proud to be the son of self-confident, assertive, and perfect mother, May Phwar. Likewise, I love her very much although I am always woken up by her angry shout early in the morning!
